Powerplant Technologies Inc. was incorporated in February of 1987 by the owner operators, John and Sharon Streit.

PTI began operations with a bang by being awarded a sub-contract in the erection of a new power plant. The Lyonsdale Energy project was just the beginning. Since then, John Streit's personal commitment to providing safe, superior quality and cost effective engineering, construction and repair services to the power generation industry has earned Powerplant Technologies a reputation that is sought after by our competitors.

We are, as a group, a conscientious, highly skilled, hard working, and fun group of people. We always seek to give our customers more than they expect. We earnestly seek to exceed all quality workmanship, efficiency and safety standards.

Though we are all business while working at our customers site, when there is break time, and the opportunities arise (as they always do), we make every effort to keep the mood light at the expense of those who seek to make themselves the target of our ever-changing sense of humor.
